Real Christmas trees arriving at the end of November · Open Wed–Sun 10am–4pm
Our Christmas 2026 trees are due at the end of November. We'll post this year's sizes and prices here as soon as they're in.
Every year, families from Boston and the villages around come to Hilldyke Nurseries to choose their real Christmas tree, and we can't wait to welcome you back. This year we'll have freshly cut Nordmann Fir in a range of heights, plus pot-grown trees you can keep growing long after Christmas.
Follow us on Facebook to be the first to know when the trees land.
The nation's favourite real Christmas tree. Nordmann Fir has soft, glossy, deep green needles that hold on well, a full, classic shape and sturdy branches for your heaviest baubles. We'll have heights to suit most homes, from around 4ft for smaller rooms to 7–8ft showstoppers.
Grown in their pots with their roots intact, so they stay fresh indoors over Christmas and can go out into the garden or a large planter afterwards. Perfect for porches, patios and doorways, or for a tree you can keep year after year.
No wrestling a tree into the boot on your own. Our team will help you every step of the way.
Take your time choosing from our display of freshly cut and pot-grown trees.
Every tree is netted so it's easy to carry and fits neatly in the car.
Our team will carry your tree out and help load it, ready to take home.
While you're choosing your tree, have a wander round our festive range. Last year's highlights included fresh wreaths, festive planters and frosted mini trees.
Keep it outside in a bucket of water somewhere cool until you're ready to decorate.
Before bringing it in, saw about an inch (2–3cm) off the bottom of the trunk so it can drink.
Use a stand that holds water and top it up every day. A fresh tree can drink a litre or more a day.
Keep it away from radiators, fires and other direct heat.
Pot-grown trees: keep the compost just moist, keep the tree indoors for no more than 10–12 days, and let it adjust somewhere cool, like a porch, before it goes back outside.
Our trees arrive at the end of November 2026. We'll update this page and post on Facebook as soon as they're in.
We'll publish this year's prices here when the trees arrive.
Nordmann Fir has soft needles that hold on well indoors, which makes it the most popular choice for living rooms. Norway Spruce is the traditional Christmas tree with that classic pine scent, but it drops its needles sooner in a warm room, so it's best for cooler spots or as a pot-grown tree.
Yes. Keep it indoors for no more than 10–12 days, let it adjust somewhere cool, then plant it in the garden or a large pot. With care it can come back inside next Christmas.
